His Highness obtained a bachelor's degree in Economics and Science from the University of Portland in the United States of America.
He also held the position of Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of Spain. His Highness was appointed as the Deputy President General of Youth Welfare, as well as an advisor to the Second Deputy Prime Minister and Assistant to the Minister of Interior for General Affairs with the rank of Minister.
His Highness chairs the Council of the Eastern Province Development Authority, the Eastern Province Council, the Board of Directors of the Saudi National Society for Human Rights, and the Eastern Province Traffic Safety Committee.
He leads the journey of development and progress in the Eastern Province, contributing to the achievement of Vision 2030 and improving the quality of services provided to citizens, while enhancing the region's status as a vital economic center in the Kingdom.

Omar S. Al-Abdullatif joined Sharqia Development Authority as Chief ExecutiveOfficer in May 2023, bringing with him over three decades of experience in the Energyindustry, having previously led different functions within Saudi Aramco, includingLand Affairs and Government Affairs.
